This proposal for tourism experience at the Giza Pyramids develops an integrated tourism experience for the Pyramids area through a structured system of thematic trails and complementary visitor services. The approach is based on establishing a clear hierarchy of main and secondary trails, organized according to the concentration and significance of archaeological, landscape, and cultural attractions. Rather than treating sites as isolated points, the trail network clusters related attractions to generate coherent sequences of movement, interpretation, and pause, allowing visitors to engage with the landscape gradually and meaningfully.

The proposal also introduces a visitor center conceived as an extension of the trail experience rather than a standalone facility. It accommodates interpretive, recreational, and service functions that support longer stays and diverse visitor profiles, including educational programs, rest areas, food and beverage facilities, and family-oriented spaces. Activities such as camel and horse rides, night-time Bedouin experiences, and outdoor entertainment are positioned to complement, rather than compete with, the archaeological setting. Overall, the proposal frames tourism as a spatial learning experience that balances access, interpretation, and environmental sensitivity.
